This property is a traditional Chicago bungalow that showcases some modern updates alongside original vintage features. Our challenge would be to unify all elements of the space through furniture and accessories, while simultaneously showing the space’s potential. Knowing that the property had been on the market for some time under a previous agent, it was important to get the layout and the sizing of our pieces right.
Haven highlighted the expansive master suite upstairs with modern furniture and calming colors that grounded the space. We combined both traditional and modern pieces in the living areas to show off the versatility of the home along with bringing attention to what was already updated. Using a white dining table with a bit of a sheen to it glammed up the living room and fit in with the modern light fixture while also working well with the original wood-stained trim. By using appropriately sized pieces in all staged areas, we gave a flow to each area of the home while maximizing its potential.
